What to do (Tag Lilah and Kate)

[Carver]

Marcus sat down in the main chair, as people moved in, shuffling amongst themselves to get into their seats. Carver took his usual seat, across from Lilah.

[Kate Sutherland]

Kate walked into the room and took a seat, nodding in turn to Marcus and Carver in greeting.

[Carver]

"Kate. Have you heard?" asked Carver as the others talked amongst themselves, waiting for the meeting to start. "About Cordelia."

[Kate Sutherland]

She raised an eyebrow in surprise.
"Cordelia? No, what should I have heard?"

[Carver]

"Lawrence split her in two. Good Cordelia, and very....very...." He almost closed his eyes as the memory of Cordelia dressed like that came back to him. "Bad Cordelia."

[Carver]

***Lawrence enters***

"Sorry I'm late, had to get her a room and....get her a room." he said, hurridley sitting down.

"Lawrence..." said Carver. "Did you lose your tie?"

"I...uh..."

Carver smirked, and relaxed in his chair as the meeting began.

[Kate Sutherland]

"Bad Cordelia."

Kate's eyes narrowed slightly in thought.
"Right, and I'm presuming that's why we're all here?"

[Carver]

MARCUS

"Exactly." interrupted Marcus, sitting down as the meeting began. "Now, we all know why we're here. Now."

He swerved in his chair, and pressed a button, bringing up secruity photo after security photo on the projection screen. "Cordelia."

[Lilah]

"Cordelia Chase," Lilah began, "formerly of Sunnydale, now playing for team Angel and a human connection to the Powers That Be. She was acquired, without our knowledge or consent, by an independent contractor. However, once she was here, I took the opportunity to turn Miss Chase into an asset for our side. With a little mystical help from Mr. Huntley."

[Carver]

Marcus clicked the projection again, and displayed on the screen was a full-sized picture of Lawrence and Cordelia in the training room, engaging in activities that had very little to do with magic.

Lawrence just sat, stunned as male co-workers tried to high five him.

[Lilah]

Lilah rolled her eyes. "As you can tell, the negative aspect of Cordelia isn't so quick to judge our firm or accuse us of trying to end the world. She might even want to help in such efforts. My hope was that Lawrence's bipolarity would give us a Cordelia whose connection to the Powers That Be was still intact but who was unburdened by morals or ethics or loyalties to Angel. If she's here with us, she's not helping him help the helpless."

She turned to Marcus. "But this evil Cordelia is highly unstable. We have no idea of her powers, her abilities. She needs to be contained until we have an accurate assessment."

[Carver]

"Containment." said Marcus. "Seems to be the correct course of action."

CARVER

"I'm not sure. We have to welcome her, let her know we're on her side. If we give her the impression that we're trying to control her-"

"Well, we are."

"Why let her know that? I wouldn't want to be contained, controlled."

[Lilah]

"And I wouldn't want her to turn around and bite us in our collective asses," Lilah warned. "Especially with Lawrence so eager to teach her how to play with fire."

[Carver]

"That is not my fault." said Lawrence.

"How?" asked Carver and Marcus.

"Lawrence, I don't care. You can fuck her all you want, just don't teach her to burn things, you fuckwit." said Marcus.

Carver turned back to Lilah. "She won't bite us in the ass if she trusts us. Besides, we're Wolfram and Hart. Cordelia is a pack of matchsticks compared to us."

[Lilah]

"Yes, one spark and this could blow up in our face," she retorted. "Cordelia hates this firm and everything it stands for. No spell is going to change that; it's at the core of her being. And this new incarnation might be using us to her own ends. We need to be cautious."
