Marcus Gates pushed the doors open to his office, and drew the curtains, allowing the sunlight to spill into the room.
He made his way over to his desk, and starting flicking through the files he had on his desk, placed there by the mail boy or whomever.
Gates was enjoying his newfound position of power. Holland Manners did have big shoes to fill, not that Marcus was scared. Oh, no. He was excited, his first day on the job. Moved up from taking orders into giving orders, and today was the day he wanted to meet the project that was more special than the others: Angelus.
