The Seer (tag Anyone)

[Queen C]

...Adam Picked up the phone and called a number. "Yes i like to speak to someone about a Seer..." He smiled and gave his work number over the phone, and his authorization was cleared, all he had to do now was wait.

[Lilah]

Lilah hadn't even had time to sit down before her phone was ringing. She huffed impatiently and picked up the receiver. "Lilah Morgan, head of Special Projects," she greeted. "How can I help you?"

[Queen C]

"Yes Ms. Morgan I'm Adam, one of the scouts. i think i have found something to your liking, A seer. But not just any seer, a Direct link to the powers that Be."

[Lilah]

A direct link? Lilah knew of only one of those, and Adam shouldn't have been able to get to her. Nonetheless, he'd managed to track down rare objects before.

"A seer?" she repeated. "Go on, then. I'm listening. How do you know it's the real thing?"

[Queen C]

"Its her, Ms. Cordelia Chase. Part of Angel Investigations." He smiled and sat down in his chair, leaning back. "I have here now as we speak, wasn't easy but we got her to sign herself over to Wolfram and hart, she's yours."

Adam lit a cigar. "So when do you want her?"

[Lilah]

Cordelia? He had Cordelia under contract? Of course everything would have to be reviewed to make sure it was legally and magically binding. But Adam knew the procedures; he wouldn't promise such a thing if he couldn't deliver.

Lilah allowed herself a small smile. Wolfram & Hart: 2, Angel: 0, she tallied in her mind. "How does now work for you?" she asked. "And bring her straight to my office when you get here." No need to let anyone else in on their newest acquisition just yet.

[Queen C]

"You got it Ms. Morgan, I'll be there in Ten minutes." Adam smiled and hung up the phone. he looked to Mosh and Diri. "Pack her up boys, were going on a little trip." Diri smiled and picked up the limp body of cordelia chase and placed her over his shoulder.

Walking up the stairs steping over the dead body of Mr. William. Diri and Mosh lay her down in the back of the truck and jump into the back, Adam started the car and drove off. The contract tucked neatly in a folder. Driving down the street he kept the same goofy smile on his face and as he turned the corner he spoted the Building ahead. "Get ready boys."

Diri kept Cordy in his arms, Draped with a blanket he kept her hidden and with a smile they Traveled through the front door. the elevator was quiet and Mosh paced back and forth. "Sit." and he did without another word. AS the door gave a slight ding, Adam walked out and headed down the hall... Lilah Morgan He knocked.

[Lilah]

Lilah opened the door with a warm smile. "Ah, Adam, thank you for being so prompt. Could you help Miss Chase take a seat?" She said to Diri and Mosh, and they placed Cordelia in a chair in front of Lilah's desk. "The contract, please," she asked Adam, snatching the folder out of his hand. "We do appreciate your help in this matter. Go down to payroll, tell them to cut a check for double your normal finder's fee." She stood aside to let Diri and Mosh exit her office. "And next time, don't bring the lackeys. They scare the interns."

She slammed the door, placed the contract on her desk and retrieved a bottle of smelling salts from her desk, holding the bottle under Cordelia's nose. "Wakey, wakey, little Vision Girl," she whispered.

"Welcome to Wolfram & Hart, Miss Chase," she greeted, crossing her arms and leaning against the desk. "Besides those few cuts and bruises, I trust you were treated well. Can I get you anything--coffee, tea? I mean, we may be evil, but we don't have to be uncivilized."

[Carver]

***Carver enters***

"Lilah-" he began, and then saw a pretty girl, and a tall man. He recognised the girl. "Cordelia Chase."

[Queen C]

Adam nodded and thanked Lilah before he exited and headed back to his new home...

"Wakey, wakey, little Vision Girl," Cordy felt as if her head was on fire, she opened her eyes blurry at first and then the picture became clear. she cursed, so it wasn't a dream. she looked up and sighed. and gave her a fake smile. Cordy couldn'rt believe of all people she was give to Lilah morgan, she was the last person she cared about in here. Her and Linsey...

"Welcome to Wolfram & Hart, Miss Chase, Besides those few cuts and bruises, I trust you were treated well. Can I get you anything--coffee, tea? I mean, we may be evil, but we don't have to be uncivilized." Sitting there she sighed and looked up into Lilah's face with Anger. "I came here for one reason and one reason only, its better then death. I might be undercontact ms. morgan but i won't hurt my friends, or do anything that will help with that."

"I'll take water..." when she realized she wasn't getting anywhere.

[Lilah]

"Carver, would you mind giving Miss Chase a glass of water?" She gestured toward the sideboard and the crystal decanter with glasses.

"Oh, Cordelia," she sighed. "We don't want to hurt your friends. Okay, maybe in the past, our firm and your firm have been working toward opposite ends. And occasionally some people get caught in the crossfire. My apologies.

"You need to understand that Wolfram and Hart is about people. Sad, lonely, desperate people who are susceptible to our manipulations. But you, with your connection to a higher power, helping Angel to come to the aid of these misbegotten masses...well, that's just bad for business. And I'm guessing it's not a picnic for you, either."

[Carver]

He poured the glass as Lilah talked. She had a gift for talk, certainly. He glided over to Cordelia, placing the water on the desk.

[Queen C]

"You need to understand that Wolfram and Hart is about people. Sad, lonely, desperate people who are susceptible to our manipulations. But you, with your connection to a higher power, helping Angel to come to the aid of these misbegotten masses...well, that's just bad for business. And I'm guessing it's not a picnic for you, either."

Cordy shook her head, she was sitting here and all these lied wer coming right out of her mouth. About not wanting to hurt her or anyone around her anymore. and that Cordy having a connection to the powers that be would be helpful, was bad for business on there end. "Bone Crunching Visions are never easy on the mind, I've learned that. But what do you want with me? what can i possibly do to make your job easier. My powers are for good not for evil." she sipped her water that Carver placed down.

The Visions came from all things good, nothing evil. so how did they expect her to use her powers for there personal gain?

[Lilah]

"Cordelia, a supernatural connection such as yours puts an intense strain on a mortal psyche. The human mind can only take so much pressure before it begins to crack under the strain." She narrowed her eyes at her. "And something tells me you're already starting to feel those hairline fractures at the edges of your skull. You already had one psychotic break, Cordelia. Why willingly submit yourself to another one? You can't be of much help to Angel wearing a straitjacket in a padded room, now can you?"

[Queen C]

Cordy hadn't even thought of that aspect of it, she had had one break already. back when she first had the visions, the one that made her change, to have compassion for th ones around her, and one more could insure that she would be anywhere else than the outside world. she drank more of her water and looked around the room, there was no way to escape and they capture her before she could make it down the hall.

She had been to the doctor's off and on for The last year since the Migrains started. They had her on pills, and they said if things continued one of two things could happen, Death or complete menatal relapse. "There is no way to stop it, and what am i suppose to do? Retire. write my two week notice to the PTB?" Her voice dripped with saracasum.

"So please if there is anyways, let me know."
