He locked the door, yawning. Discarding his clothes, he fell on the bed, closing his eyes.

Next morning....
The water of the shower ran over his body, his eyes closed as the warmth of the water soothed him. Soon, all this Cordelia business would be over, one way or the other.

He ran a comb through his hair, checking his appearance in the mirror, when it occured to him he had never once seen Lilah out of the office, something he'd have to rectify.

Turning the key in ignition, he made his way down the road, driving carefully. Smart suit, handsome, briefcase. No one would ever think he was anything other than human.
