*Continued from want to feel human again*
For a long time, Faith didn't move from Angel's embrace. It had been months since she had been able to rest for more than a couple of hours at a time. His protective arm draped casually around her waist, must have given her mind enough comfort for her body to take itself from it's constantly alert mode and switch off completely. But then she started to dream...
She wandered down a dark path, at the end of which was an iron door. Three bolts lay across it and she struggled to pull them back. As she did so, they made a familiar screeching noise that sent chills down her spine. The door opened on it's own then, revealing a large room lit by blue light. Her feet walked her further in, but then a panic rose in her head. She was back in her Wolfram and Hart prison. She turned too late to escape and the door shut behind her. She screamed, banging her fists on the heavy metal.
"You can't escape." A voice said, threateningly. Faith spun around and gasped in shock at the figure standing on the other side of the blue fire. It was her, the wild and feral Faith, staring back. Head to toe in demon blood, her clawed hands grasped around two bone daggers.
"You can't escape this place." She laughed, a hideously evil laugh. "And you can't escape me!" With that wild Faith made a break for her, daggers out, ready to pin her to the wall. Her only defense was to run down into the labyrinth. How could she fight herself? Instinctively, she ran in the direction she remember the tunnels were laid out, but found herself up against a dead end. Confused, she back tracked, only to be confronted by her feral self. Faith dodged her attack, and ran again. The sound of the bones hitting the wall behind her, echoing in the dark. Time after time, she ended up in a dead end. The tunnels were different, and she couldn't find her way out.
"Angel!" She called out, desperate for help. Behind her she heard that laugh again.
"He's not coming to save you this time....don't you remember? You killed him!" She laughed again. The sound of her own, evil voice was like a drill in Faith's mind, wearing her down until she couldn't run anymore. She was cut off again. The wild her coming closer, hatred in her eyes. Faith squeezed hers shut. The last thing she saw was a dagger slicing through the air and she screamed.
