Angel pushed open the door to his room and helped Faith in, he moved her over to his bed and sat her down, he looked at Fred "Do me a favour, look in the bathroom and grab some towels for me"
He moved over to his closet and grabbed a shirt and some sweats "Here's some clean clothes, after you've rested you can get cleaned up"
He didn't mind Faith getting dirt and blood all over his sheets, her getting strong again was more important to him right now more then anything.

Fred smiled, at Faith and fetched some towels. She was unsure why he wanted them, but was glad to help. She liked helping, and though she was dying to talk to Faith, afterall they were a little low on females in the hotel, she knew to keep quiet while she rested.

Sitting awkwardly on the edge of the bed, Faith looked down at her hands. Bloodied and dirty, but no longer shaking. While Fred was in the bathroom, Faith took hold of Angel's hand.
"Thanks." She said, holding his gaze a moment. "Thanks for not cutting me loose just yet."

Angel squeezed her hand gently "Be a long time before you'll get rid of me" he saw a dead leaf in her hair and picked it out and threw it away, his hand slid out of hers and he stood up, he looked to Fred as she walked back in "Hey Fred, where'd Wes go?"

Fred stopped when she saw how intimate they were with one another. She knew she was not good enough for him, but she had hoped he would look at her like that just once.
"I-I got a towel...I hope its the right one...I-I mean well I hope it will help..." Her voice trailed off, she wanted to leave, run away, but for some reason she felt safer in that room.

Faith dragged herself further back onto the bed, pulling a pained face at the movement. Her energy was drained and all she wanted to do was switch off. She could clean up later, now, her body was demanding sleep. Allowing her eyes to close, she let out a deep breath and tried to relax, but it was proving difficult. She had been thinking of revenge since Angel had pulled her from the dirt. And revenge and Faith was a bad combination.

Angel looked at Faith sleeping then he walked to Fred and took her into the bathroom and closed the door, he lowered himself til he was at eye level with the girl "Fred, where's Wes?"

Fred looked at Angel then down at her hands. "I-I messed up...I was supposed to listen to Cordy, but then you told me to come here...Wesley...Wesley went to find Cordelia, but I think she died, she wasn't talkin'...I messed up." Fred felt like crying she had let them all down

Angel could see she was having some sort of emeotional break down "Hey, hey" he held her in his arms "You haven't messed up" he held onto her then suddenly realised what she said "Wait a second? did you say Cordelia died?"

Fred sighed, "Wait...no..she-she had a vision...on the phone...she called..I-I answered the phone, but then Wesley said to keep listening if she was ok...but he went to see her...I didn't keep listening..."

Angel let go of her, he hadn't realised she had been listening "It wasn't your fault Fred, I didn't know you where" he thought it was strange Cordelia would have another vision so soon, whatever she had seen, it must have been something very important for the powers that be to risk killing Cordy.
he reached into his jacket pocket and punched in the number of Wesley's cell phone, he held it to his ear as the dial tone rang

He fumbled to get it out of his pocket. "Yes?!"
"Wesley" he sighed with relief and his grip on the cell phone loosened "Talk to me, how's Cordelia?"
"She looks a bit worse for wear. I believe she passed out, but there's no physical injury. Angel, she said she needed to talk to you. Fred said that she had another vision."
Angel listened and rubbed his chin "Yeah, she told me, look stay with her, I'll be there as fast as I can" and he hung up. He looked at Fred "Listen, Fred, I need you to keep an eye on Faith while I'm gone to check on Cordy, can you do that for me?"

Fred's eyes widened, "You're goin' out? I hope she's ok? I mean I would...yes of course I will keep Faith company...what do I do if she is not ok?"
The day had been tough for her and she was unable to grasp what to do with the responibilities both men had given her.

Angel sensed Fred was overwhelmed with what was happened "Listen, just stay with her, she's alseep right now and I've treated her wound so she's fine, don't worry, Once I reach Cordelia's, I'll have Wes call my cell phone" he handed it to her "Just to check on you" he stepped out of the bathroom and looked at Faith then turned to Fred "Don't worry about Cordy I'm sure she's just fine"
Then suddenly he sprang on his heels and into the hotel corridors.
